Overview: The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing the inventory of the warehouse. They will organise the receiving and picking of goods and will oversee a team of warehouse employees. The Inventory Specialist will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Procurement Specialist and Counter Sales Expert, along with the warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
1) Manage inventory of the warehouse facility
2) Oversee receiving and picking of goods
3) Ensuring that picked items and prepared in a timely manner in accordance with the schedule/requirements.
4) Ensure that the team prepare/protect goods both incoming and outgoing.
5) Organise and schedule deliveries
6) Monitor stock levels and advise of replenishment and reordering
7) Cycle counts and stock taking
8) Inventory cost management
9) Ensure labelling, movement tracking and transfers are accurately maintained
10) Oversee a team of warehouse employees.
• 24-hour call-out participation
• Working every other Saturday, and some Sundays
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role - warehouse experience and inventory management are essential
