TAILOR.

We are seeking a full-time Tailor to join our team in George Town, Grand Cayman. The successful applicant should have relevant tailoring experience, with strong sewing and garment alteration skills. The applicant must be reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Take accurate measurements and perform garment fittings.
• Alter, repair, and modify clothing according to customer requirements.
• Cut, sew, stitch, and assemble garments using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
• Hem and adjust sleeves, waistlines, seams, zippers, buttons, and other garment components.
• Repair damaged garments and replace buttons, zippers, linings, and other accessories.
• Read and follow garment patterns, measurements, and design specifications.
• Perform custom tailoring and alterations on various types of fabrics and garments.
• Operate and maintain sewing machines, irons, cutting tools, and other tailoring equipment.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure proper fit and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete customer orders accurately and within required deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Years of experience as a Tailor or in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of sewing, garment construction, alterations, and repairs.
• Ability to work with different fabrics and garment types.
• Good attention to detail and ability to produce quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
