CARPENTER.

A Plus Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and determine required materials.
Measure, cut, shape, and prepare construction materials.
Construct walls, floors, doorframes, and other structures.
Ensure structures are level, square, and secure.
Install doors, cabinets, stairs, paneling, and other fixtures.
Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures.
Manage tools, equipment, and construction materials.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Operate saws, drills, sanders, and other tools.
Work with other trades to meet project specifications.
Create custom cabinetry and detailed woodwork as required.
Advise clients on suitable materials and construction options.
Perform basic calculations for materials and dimensions.

Qualifications
5-6 years of experience; High School Diploma
Carpentry training, apprenticeship, or vocational certification preferred.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Previous carpentry experience preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to assess woodwork and material quality.
Ability to safely operate carpentry tools and equipment.
Ability to lift, climb, pull, and stand for extended periods.
Clean police record required.
