POWER HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
Is Hiring a Steel Fixer / Mason / Carpenter (Multi-Skilled Worker)
The role requires hands-on expertise across multiple trades to support efficient project completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Steel Fixing:
Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules
Cut, bend, and tie steel reinforcement bars (rebar)
Install reinforcement for concrete structures (foundations, columns, beams, slabs)
Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and securing of reinforcement
Masonry Work:
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to plans
Mix and apply mortar, plaster, and concrete
Construct walls, partitions, and other structures
Repair and maintain existing masonry work
Carpentry Work:
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
Build and install formwork for concrete structures
Construct frameworks, doors, windows, and roofing components
Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures
General Duties:
Follow construction drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
Assist other trades as needed on-site
Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements:
Proven experience in steel fixing, masonry, and carpentry
Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Knowledge of safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on large construction projects
Basic knowledge of concrete work and finishing
Working Conditions:
Outdoor construction sites in varying weather conditions
Physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
May require overtime or weekend work, depending on project deadlines
