Position Overview: We are seeking a well experienced and highly responsible Plumber Helper which will provide and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our growing construction and interior fit-out projects.
Salary Range: KYD 10.00 – KYD 12.00/ per hour (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday (Morning Shift) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing work areas and protecting other properties by laying drop cloths, cleaning and clearing debris, cutting access holes in walls or floors and ensuring the site is safe and organized.
• Assisting plumbers with installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals and water heaters.
• Loading and unloading materials and tools and setting up tolls and equipment.
• Handling tools and materials by fetching, carrying and organizing tools, equipment and plumbing materials; handling tools to plumber as needed.
• Measuring, cutting, threading and assembling pipes and pipe fittings.
• Helping to locate and repair issues with water supply lines and drainage systems.
• Cleaning work areas and equipment after completion of jobs.
• Transporting materials, tools and machines to installation sites.
• Performing basic tasks such as unclogging drains and replacing leaky faucets.
• Observing and learning from experienced plumbers to acquire skills in trade.
• Assisting with pressure tests, checking for leaks and ensuring plumbing systems meet building codes and safety standards.
• Disposing of debris and waste materials according to regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in the cleaning field.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength, with the ability to perform demanding manual tasks.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward task completion.
• Ability to understand and follow clear verbal and written instructions from clients and supervisors.
• Strict adherence to all occupational health and safety protocols, and specific safety regulations.
• Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
• Current legal authorization to work in the Cayman Islands
