JOB TITLE: SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
SALARY: CI$85,000 - CI$130,000 pa
WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Active Investments team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis and due diligence, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting strategic investment decisions across a diverse asset portfolio.
DO YOU HAVE:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate Finance, Economics, or a related field; in addition, a Master's degree in a related field
5-8 years of post-graduate analytical experience in real estate, investment management, financing, equity research, valuation, or a related field
A professional designation such as CFA, CAIA, or similar (or be working toward the final stages of certification)
Advanced financial modeling skills, including the ability to build and modify complex models from scratch and interpret results effectively
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of financial analysis techniques, investment metrics, and valuation methodologies
Strong critical thinking, research, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to draw meaningful insights from complex data
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with stakeholders across the business
WE WANT YOU TO:
Lead and coordinate the financial analysis process, ensuring timely and accurate information is gathered to support investment decisions
Conduct detailed investment analysis, due diligence, valuation assessments, ROI evaluations, and capital deployment reviews while presenting recommendations to decision-makers
Design, maintain, and enhance financial models that support acquisitions, asset management activities, and strategic planning initiatives
Research market trends, competitive projects, investment opportunities, and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities
Review and validate internal documents, perform fact-checking, and oversee information gathering to support investment and business decisions
Assist in the preparation, coordination, and review of annual operating budgets for portfolio properties and businesses
Monitor and report on investment performance, develop new reporting methodologies as needed, and provide guidance to junior analysts and interns when required
