Salary: CI$45,000 per annum
Cayman Learning Centre & School is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Maths & Science Teacher to support students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and related learning differences across upper primary and Key Stage 3.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver differentiated Maths & Science instruction aligned with the National Curriculum for England
• Adapt lessons and assessments to individual learning needs
• Provide remediation using multisensory and evidence-based strategies
• Support executive functioning, emotional regulation, and student independence
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide after-school tutoring/intervention support as required
Essential Requirements
• Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience
• Experience teaching Maths & Science to KS3 level
• Experience supporting students with SEN
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
• Patient, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Desirable
• SEN qualifications or professional development
• Training in multisensory remediation programmes
• Experience with executive functioning and social-emotional support
• Familiarity with assistive technology and accommodation strategies
• Experience with project-based learning
