Customer service role for retail pet store that involves helping customers by providing information regarding customer needs and queries to find suitable products to recommend, promoting sales and new products and services, stock and organize shelves, assist with inventory taking, assist customers with refunds and exchanges, participate in store promotions, assist in keeping the store clean and organized. Assist with store opening and closing as needed. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and to lift merchandise weighing in excess of 40lbs. Pet food and supplies experience welcomed, but not required. A practical test of skills and knowledge will be administered during the interview. Drug and Alcohol testing may be required.
