Sales Assistant.

The position includes working unsocial hours including weekends and public holidays (including Christmas, Easter & New Year’s Day) as per the cruise ship schedule issued by the CI Port Authority.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work and be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.

The successful candidate will also display exemplary communication skills and be able to assist and communicate with tourists, as well as having a basic knowledge of scuba diving.

The successful candidate will have a clean police record and driving licence.

The successful candidate with have basic computer and numeracy skills, be able to work a Point of Sale and make US to CI conversions.

Other duties include but are not limited to :

• Receive and sign for orders and place in allocated storage
• Ensure the retail area is restocked to a satisfactory level
• Empty garbage bins and dispose of contents accordingly
• Cleaning of all internal / external windows
• Keep internal / external storage rooms clean and organized
• Ensure retail sales area and back areas are kept clean and well maintained
• Liaise / Communicate with other members of staff / customers
• Must demonstrate a good comprehension of the English language with basic written/computer skills
• Perform all end of day cleaning duties throughout entire building and surrounding areas (inc. carpark)
• Remain physically fit and able to perform duties and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• To be familiar with and adhere to all health and safety standards and requirements of NGD Ltd, PADI and the Cayman Islands Tourism Association at all times.

Base salary, with additional monthly performance bonus offered
