SAND ANGELS - RETAIL BUYER

We are looking for an experienced Retail Buyer to select and purchase lines of products on behalf of our company working directly with the owner. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proven high volume apparel buying expertise, have at least ten years experience and have a University Degree (BSc) as a prerequisite.

Primary Responsibilities: planning, choosing, and purchasing merchandise in keeping with current trends and seasonal variations. Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices, forge and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing, maintaining accurate inventory record in order to purchase what is necessary for demand. Working within the established budget. Modifying purchase orders according to seasonality, availability, and demand; solving any problems that may arise with the merchandise and/or supplier. Following and analyzing market trends, studies, and liaising with suppliers. Using data collected in order to analyze and understand the needs and necessities of consumers and how they can be satisfied. Carrying out administrative duties and report generation.
