We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pump Truck Operator / Truck Driver / Labourer to safely operate and maintain concrete pump and ready-mix concrete trucks, support concrete delivery operations, and ensure efficient service at job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and drive concrete boom pump, ready-mix concrete, and heavy-duty trucks to and from job sites.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, check fluid levels and critical components, and promptly report mechanical issues.
• Safely position and operate trucks, booms, pumps, hoses, and related equipment in accordance with site instructions.
• Assess job-site conditions and coordinate with dispatch, contractors, customers, and crew members to ensure safe and timely concrete delivery and placement.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance, including removing concrete buildup and maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all company, safety, health, environmental, and traffic regulations at all times.
• Travel to multiple job sites and work overtime, weekends, or nights as operationally required.
• Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience operating and maintaining commercially licensed concrete boom pump and ready-mix concrete trucks.
• Valid Group 4 Commercial Driver’s Licence or equivalent, with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety awareness, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and on multiple job sites.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the past 12 months and no serious driving convictions.
Working Hours: Normal working hours are on a shift basis, not exceeding 45 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
