Heavy Equipment Operator / Driver.

Terra Vegetation and Maintenance Solutions specializes in vegetation management, waste management and maintenance services to customers in the residential, commercial and utility sectors.
We are recruiting for an experienced truck driver/operator/helper who is versatile in operating various types of machinery that can adapt quickly in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Our Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver role combines safe and efficient driving, proficient operations, and a keen eye for preventative maintenance.
The candidate must be familiar with working in areas surrounded by traffic, rugged terrains and extreme conditions. The candidate should be a hardworking, well-rounded person and complete all health and safety training successfully.

Minimum Requirements
Safely operate large trucks (up to/over 33,000 lbs) to transport materials and equipment.
Proficiently operate grapple trucks to remove debris, mixed waste, and other forms of material safely.
Maintaining inventory by performing structural repairs, welding, and fabrication on metal dumpsters.
Assist with routine maintenance on vehicles and heavy machinery.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard environment.
Must have exceptional observation skills.
Be proficient with technology and use of electronic devices.

Education and Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating large trucks up to and over 33,000 lbs GVWR.
Must have detailed knowledge and experience of hydraulic systems, general welding and fabricating.
Must have a valid Group 4 driver’s license.

Salary
CI$9 - $12 per hour
