Salary: USD$4,000 – $4,500 - based on qualifications and experience
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the international patient journey from initial pre-arrival preparations through admission, treatment, discharge and post-care support. The position works closely with clinical teams, Admissions, Finance, Billing, Transportation, Housekeeping and other hospital departments to ensure international patients and their accompanying family members receive a seamless, professional and well-coordinated experience.
Duties And Responsibilities:
• Key responsibilities include coordinating patient appointments and treatment schedules; arranging airport transfers, local transportation and accommodation;
• Assisting patients and their families with non-clinical requirements;
• Monitoring approved patient packages and entitlements;
• Maintaining accurate patient records and trackers; supporting billing and payment follow-up;
• Coordinating discharge arrangements; and promptly escalating operational, financial or service-related concerns.
Qualification, Licensure, Education, Experience, Special Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Nursing, a related field
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in healthcare or patient services, hospital administration, hospitality, Customer-focused environments
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in international patient coordination is an advantage.
• Experience in hospital front-office operations is preferred.
• Experience coordinating transportation and/or accommodation is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patient requirements simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable using hospital information systems and electronic patient tracking systems.
