NCI Freight & Logistics Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Grand Cayman.
This role is designed for a strong logistics professional with extensive knowledge of global shipping operations, capable of managing import and export activities to and from international markets while working with a vast network of freight liners, shipping companies, airlines, and freight forwarders worldwide.

Role Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end international logistics operations, ensuring the seamless movement of cargo across global trade lanes.
This role requires daily coordination with international partners, clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are processed accurately, compliant with regulations, and delivered on time. The position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence across all international logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage international import and export shipments across global markets
• Liaise with a wide network of freight liners, shipping companies, airlines, and freight forwarders worldwide
• Manage end-to-end shipment processes including booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery
• Prepare and review all international shipping and customs documentation to ensure compliance
• Coordinate customs clearance processes and ensure adherence to Cayman Islands and international trade regulations
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or operational issues
• Maintain strong relationships with global logistics partners and negotiate where required
• Manage client accounts, ensuring clear communication, service updates, and issue resolution
• Support cost control, shipment planning, and logistics optimization initiatives
• Compile and analyze data for reporting, reconciliation, and performance tracking
• Ensure compliance with company policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements

Must-Have Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 8+ years in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination
• Global Expertise: Strong knowledge of worldwide import/export processes, trade lanes, and shipping documentation
• Network Experience: Proven experience working with international freight liners, carriers, and forwarding networks
• Customs Knowledge: Hands-on experience with customs clearance and regulatory compliance
• Software Proficiency:
o QuickBooks (required)
o Microsoft Excel (advanced level required)
o Microsoft Outlook & Word
o ACSA (TMS/Freight System)
• Excel Skills: Advanced capabilities including pivot tables, lookups, reporting, and reconciliation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex, time-sensitive shipments
• Excellent communication skills across international stakeholders
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Clean police record (required)
• Clean drug test report (required)

Preferred Qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Studies (an asset)
• Experience managing multimodal shipments (air, ocean, and land freight)
• Knowledge of Cayman Islands import/export regulations and logistics environment
• Experience with cost analysis, pricing, or client billing processes
• Established relationships within global shipping and freight networks (an asset)

Work Hours & Schedule (Grand Cayman)
• Location: On-site, Grand Cayman
• Hours: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Saturday work is required)
• Occasional extended hours may be required based on operational demands.
