Container Offloaded/ Packer.

NCI Freight & Logistics Ltd is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Container Off-loaded / Packer to join our dynamic team. We specialize in handling high-value cargo, furniture, and time-sensitive logistics, and are looking for a candidate who takes pride in precision, safety, and professionalism.

Position Summary
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 36 consecutive months of proven experience in freight, logistics, container handling, or warehouse operations. This role is physically demanding and requires a high level of care and attention, particularly when handling high-value or fragile goods.
Candidates must be capable of safely lifting a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly and must not have any shoulder, back, hip, or leg issues that could impact performance or safety.
Forklift operating experience is mandatory for this role.
Applicants must also be comfortable working in sunny, hot, and humid outdoor conditions, as container unloading frequently takes place in open environments.
Experience working with high-end or high-value cargo is essential. Applicants must demonstrate a consistent track record of handling goods with accuracy, care, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
• Safely unload containers using proper techniques and equipment, including forklifts
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Accurately check, sort, and organize incoming shipments
• Pack, wrap, and prepare cargo for storage, transport, or delivery
• Handle high-value, fragile, or sensitive items with precision and care
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Assist with loading outbound shipments securely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Additional Duties
In support of NCI’s expanded logistics services, the successful candidate may also assist with:
• Furniture handling and staging
• Furniture assembly support
• Debris and packaging removal
• Warehouse organization and inventory management
• Support tasks related to customs brokerage operations

Work Schedule
• Full-time position
• Monday–Saturdays (extended hours may be required during peak periods)
• Must be available for occasional short-notice assignments based on operational needs (mandatory)

Requirements
• Minimum 36 consecutive months of relevant logistics/warehouse experience
• Age 25+ (required for vehicle insurance compliance)
• Forklift operation experience (mandatory)
• Group 4 Driver’s License (considered a strong asset)
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to work in outdoor, hot, and humid conditions
• Clean driving record
• Clean police record (due to handling high-value cargo)
• Clean drug test report (government requirement due to working in proximity to Customs & Border Control)
