Compass Marine Ltd. is looking for a Labourer to assist with general labour, marine repair, maintenance, and site preparation activities to ensure the efficient completion of daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the repair and maintenance of boats, vessels, and marine equipment.
Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and supplies.
Assist technicians and mechanics with general repair and maintenance tasks.
Perform sanding, scraping, painting, and cleaning of boats and equipment.
Prepare and clean work areas before and after jobs.
Assist with moving, launching, and securing boats as directed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition.
Dispose of waste and debris safely.
Follow workplace safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in marine work, construction, or general labour is an asset.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials.
Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
Ability to work well with others.
Must have clean police record and driver's license.
