Roper's Enterprises Ltd. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee our cleaning operations, manage staff, maintain client satisfaction, and support business growth. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage multiple contracts, supervise cleaning teams, conduct site inspections, prepare quotations, and ensure our clients consistently receive high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily janitorial operations across multiple client locations.
• Ensure all contracted cleaning services are completed to company standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections, monthly client inspections, and quality assurance checks.
• Resolve operational issues, service deficiencies, and client concerns promptly.
• Ensure all contract sites remain adequately stocked with cleaning supplies, consumables, and janitorial equipment.
• Monitor cleaning equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Manage keys, alarm codes, and building access procedures for all client sites while maintaining strict security protocols.
• Respond to operational emergencies and staffing shortages as needed.
Staff Management
• Supervise janitorial staff, team leaders, and supervisors.
• Respond to employee questions, concerns, and emergencies.
• Prepare and maintain employee work schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage across all contract locations.
• Coordinate staff assignments and shift coverage.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of janitorial staff.
• Train and supervise cleaning staff on proper chemical usage, equipment operation, health and safety procedures, and company standards.
• Monitor employee attendance, overtime, performance, and productivity.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching, corrective action, and development opportunities when required.
Client Relations
• Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding service requests, complaints, and concerns.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and follow-up inspections.
• Ensure client satisfaction and contract compliance.
• Manage client complaints and implement service recovery solutions in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate service improvements and special cleaning requests.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients to support contract retention and growth.
Business Development
• Conduct site visits and prepare cleaning quotations for prospective and existing clients.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate cleaning services and solutions.
• Prepare site assessments, service proposals, and pricing recommendations.
• Assist in securing new service contracts.
• Support contract renewals and service expansions.
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients, including floor care, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, post-construction cleaning, and other specialty services.
Inventory, Financial & Administrative Management
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of cleaning supplies, consumables, and equipment.
• Assist with operational budgeting, purchasing, and cost-control initiatives.
• Monitor employee attendance, labor utilization, overtime, and labor costs to support operational efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain accurate operational reports, client inspection reports, inventory records, staffing reports, and service documentation.
• Track contract performance and recommend operational improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
Health & Safety Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and health and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety training and reinforce safe work practices.
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and professional service delivery throughout all operations.

Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of janitorial coordination, facilities management, or cleaning operations experience.
• Previous Operations Manager experience is required.
• Proven experience managing multiple cleaning contracts and teams across various locations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience preparing quotations, conducting site assessments, and developing service proposals.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, inventory management, and health and safety procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Cayman Islands driver's license required.
• Ability to respond to after-hours operational emergencies when required.
• Strong record-keeping, reporting, and staff management skills.
