IT Business Analyst.

JOB TITLE: IT BUSINESS ANALYST

SALARY: CI$80,000 - CI$105,000 pa

WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate bridges IT and business teams, analysing business needs, improving processes, and translating requirements into practical solutions. This role supports stakeholders, identifies efficiencies, and works collaboratively with delivery teams to drive operational improvements and ensure successful outcomes.

DO YOU HAVE:

A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline (preferred)
A Business Analysis certification such as CBAP (preferred)
A Project Management certification (an asset)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, with at least 2 years’ experience leading or managing projects
Experience working in predictive and adaptive environments
Strong requirements management, process modeling, and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) skills, using tools such as Visio or Miro
Experience with software testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Strong data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and SSRS
Experience developing business cases, cost-benefit, and financial analyses
Experience preparing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluating vendor submissions, and supporting vendor selection and procurement
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Familiarity with change management and benefits realization frameworks
Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Flexibility to work outside regular hours and travel to offshore sites when required

WE WANT YOU TO:

Partner with management and key stakeholders to identify business needs, priorities and requirements
Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and lead requirements workshops and discovery sessions
Analyze business data, financials, and KPIs, and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making
Lead vendor evaluations, including RFIs/RFPs, evaluation criteria, response assessments, and solution recommendations
Develop business cases, including feasibility, cost-benefit, and ROI analysis
Manage product backlogs to support solution design
Oversee project delivery, maintaining documentation and ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
Act as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders, translating technical concepts and supporting new technologies and applications
Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
Provide guidance and instruction to junior team members.
