Journeyman Plumber.

Qualified Journeyman Plumber with 10+ years’ experience in residential and commercial plumbing systems installations and repairs pipes, water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, fittings, chilled water piping systems and fixtures in all types of structures. Position requires leading apprentices, and compiling materials take-offs. Coordinating with general contractors and other building professionals on jobsite. Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining plumbing issue and developing effective repair solutions. Provide customer service, explain repairs and advise on improvements. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems and other related equipment. Clear obstructions using snaking, hydro-jetting or camera inspections. Proficiency with plumbing tools and knowledge of plumbing techniques. Prepare cost estimates and maintain detailed work records. Ability to work in tight spaces, at heights, and handle heavy materials. Able to complete installation to a standard of workmanship while working with strict operational schedule. Must be conversant with NFPA Code requirements and able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and building plans. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations and installation procedures, ensuring all installations meet local regulations and building codes. Excellent in troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills. Must possess NC II Certificate in Plumbing, Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Operation & Maintenance Certificate, valid Cayman Islands Journeyman Plumber Licence and Cayman Islands Driver’s Licence.
