We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented HR & Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources and Administrative functions. This position is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Duties
Human Resources Support
Assist with employee onboarding and orientation activities.
Maintain employee personnel files and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Track employee attendance, performance, and probationary review periods.
Coordinate and monitor 30, 60, and 90-day probationary evaluations.
Assist with employee performance review documentation and follow-ups.
Collect and organize feedback from supervisors and management.
Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
Monitor employee leave balances and maintain attendance records.
Assist with disciplinary documentation and employee correspondence.
Assist with Coordinating employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Office Admin Duties
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and office inquiries.
Assist with permit submissions, applications, and supporting documentation.
Support management with administrative and operational tasks.
Perform other HR, office, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Office admin experience preferred.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, organized, and capable of balancing HR responsibilities with general office administration. They should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to supporting both employees and company operations.
Compensation: CI$10.00 per hour
Schedule: 45 hours per week
