Heavy Equipment Operator - IP Driver Projects Limited.

Position Overview
The Heavy Equipment Operator must specialize in fine grade and high production earth moving; proficient in preparation of base course to finished grades with tight tolerances, proficient with GPS modelling.

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake general, daily and periodic equipment maintenance including fluid changes, filter changes and general grease and lube.
• Maintain daily equipment log.
• Undertake daily equipment inspection at the beginning of each workday.
• Undertakes daily checks of company vehicles and equipment on the project to maximize use while on the job site.
• Clean Tracks and Tires after each workday.
• Communicate and coordinate with other trades and subcontractors on site
• Attend and participate in Daily Work Plan Meeting held by the Superintendent, Foreman or Project Manager
• Time management with the ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
• Experienced operator of Excavators 30 ton +
• Experienced operator of Dozers 25 ton +
• Experienced operator of Front-End Loaders 15 ton +

Qualifications and Skills
• High School Diploma
• Clean driving record
• 5 years' working as Heavy Equipment Operator
• Experience in large scale excavation and filling projects utilizing GPS for precise grades and elevations.
• Basic use of Word, Excel and Bluebeam computer software.

This is a full-time position requiring 45 hours a week. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5 pm. This position operates outdoor in the tropical environment and applicant must be able to lift up to 50lbs. The project is located on West Bay Road.
