General Construction Helper.

The successful applicant will be required to assist skilled tradesmen with general construction activities on-site, including handling, loading, unloading, and organizing construction materials, supplies, tools, and equipment as required.

Duties will include preparing and maintaining work areas, mixing and preparing cement, concrete, mortar, and other construction materials, as well as assisting with excavation and other general construction activities.

The successful applicant will also assist with the setup and dismantling of construction equipment and scaffolding, maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and ensure that work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.

Responsibilities will further include removing demolished sheetrock and other construction waste and debris from interior and exterior work areas, and ensuring that materials and waste are properly handled and disposed of.

The successful applicant may also assist with the positioning and installation of replacement panels, windows, doors, and interior and exterior wall systems, under the direction of skilled tradesmen or the contractor.

Other general construction duties may be assigned as required by the contractor to support the safe, efficient, and timely completion of construction projects.
