GENERAL HELPER.

Bailey's Maintenance is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious General Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various maintenance and construction-related tasks and provide support to supervisors and other team members on job sites.

Responsibilities
Assist with plumbing, digging trenches, installations, masonry work, and other construction-related tasks.
Prepare job sites by laying out tools, materials, and equipment needed for the work.
Keep work sites clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general housekeeping.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations.
Assist construction site engineers, supervisors, and other skilled workers with assigned tasks.
Remove trash, debris, and other potentially hazardous materials from work sites.
Assist with surveying and identifying materials and items that are to be retained, removed, or replaced during upgrades.
Load, unload, move, and organize building materials and supplies.
Identify materials and ensure they are delivered and distributed to the appropriate locations.
Assist with the safe operation and servicing of compressors, generators, power tools, hand tools, and other construction equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
Perform other general duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
5-6 years of experience.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting or carrying loads of up to 40 pounds.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Basic familiarity with power tools, hand tools, machinery, or construction equipment is an asset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established safety procedures.
Apprenticeship, trade training, or specialization is an asset but not required.
Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Must have a clean police record.
