Invites applications for the following position:
FUND ACCOUNTANT & FIDUCIARY

Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Review of fund documentation and continual monitoring of investment vehicles;
• Review of fund financial information and annual financial statements;
• Acting in a fiduciary capacity to investment vehicles, which may include acting in a personal capacity as a director to hedge funds and other corporate investment vehicles.
• Business development initiatives, which way include organizing events and entertaining clients and referral sources.
• Other ad-hoc duties / projects commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in accountancy, together with an internationally recognized professional accounting/financial qualification (CA/CPA) and have around 10 years relevant experience within the financial services audit industry, a material part of that experience having a Cayman fund audit bias. Experience serving on the boards of funds and associated vehicles is important, as is an excellent knowledge of the structural, regulatory and multijurisdictional environment in which investment vehicles operate along with an understanding of the financial and legal aspects of offshore financial products. Experience in developing business relationships with clients and potential referral sources would be advantageous. The successful candidate must be highly computer literate and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, can meet tight deadlines and work overtime when required. Must be highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative

Benefits: Salary of US$80,000 to US$100,500 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful applicant working 40 hours per week. Benefits as deemed by law and an annual discretionary bonus may also be offered.
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am to 5pm
