Accountant.

The Employee will work with the Director of the Company in performing accounting and valuation services for one of the group companies. The Employee may also become involved in the administration and operations of the same group company.

Responsibilities

To prepare the weekly indicative Net Asset Value calculations of the ETIs and underlying securities, whose investment strategies include traditional assets and/or digital assets, in Excel and calculate all relevant fees due.

To prepare the monthly and annual management accounts for the underlying securities, including all fee calculations, and the annual management accounts for the company, using QuickBooks and Cryptio accounting solutions.

Importing transactions and reconciling crypto portfolios to underlying exchanges and wallets on the Cryptio system

To assist the Director in administering the ETIs, reviewing documentation produced for completeness, ensuring documents are signed in time and the on-going operation of the underlying securities using HubSpot CRM and PandaDoc document signing systems

To prepare the calculation of portfolio/expense ratios/performance returns for documentation required under EU regulations.

Candidate Experience

The candidate should:

Be a qualified accountant with relevant accounting experience, including experience in reconciling transactions

Experience of fund or investment accounting as well as knowledge and experience of different investment asset types. Cryptocurrency knowledge and an understanding of how crypto and blockchains work would be an advantage.

Experience of advanced Excel functions, Power Query, Power Automate would be an advantage.

Experience of crypto accounting systems and/or Cryptio as well as an understanding of legal contracts would be beneficial for the role

Be able to work on their own initiative and meet internal and external deadlines as working from home is an option at the discretion of the Director.
