Front of House Manager.

Responsible for all front office functions and staff. Managerial role responsible for the management and coordination of all aspects and functions of the departments within the Front of House Rooms Division including Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Service Call Center, Concierge, Guest Relations, and Club, as applicable. As a department head, directs and works with managers and employees to successfully execute all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures. Strives to continually improve guest and employee engagement and maximize the financial performance of the department. A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the Rooms Division of a luxury hotel is required for this senior management role.
The ideal candidate must have:
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as Director of Front Office in a luxury 5 star/5 diamond resort or hotel.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or tourism.
• Proficient in effective office organizational practices.
• Ability to customize approach to conveying complex information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner; appropriately interprets verbal and non-verbal behavior; and models active listening to ensure understanding.
• Ability to lead and participate as a member of a diverse team to move the team forward
• Strong team player and able to motivate a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills(English)
• Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
• Proven ability in leading and motivation people
• Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
• Full understanding of planning and managing budget for the department.
• Clear understanding of reading and interpreting department monthly P&L
• Clear understanding of forecasting resources and hours to maintain profitability for the department.
