Finance Manager

We are seeking a focused and dedicated individual who will be responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Director of Residences in the leadership and management of the strata accounting and financial reporting for the Residences, in accordance with hotel, residences and corporate standards.
The Finance Manager will maximize the return on financial assets by implementing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions, and by executing all cost and general accounting, payroll, accounts receivable/payable and risk management functions.

Supports the day-to day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes. Performs accounting functions specifically in the areas of internal controls, risk management, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll system review & auditing, reporting and discrepancy resolution.
Serves as a business Partner to all areas of operations to support a sound control environment

The ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of management experience in accounting of complex sub-strata or intracompany structure; real estate accounting exposure also beneficial
• Strong working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and generating monthly financial statements
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, peers, employees and owners
• Ability to compute mathematic calculations with ease
• In-depth practical knowledge of all accounting functions
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with Opera, ADP and PeopleSoft beneficial
