Recreation & Activities Manager.

The Recreation & Activities Manager is responsible for leading the property's watersports, related wellness activities, and family programming while delivering exceptional guest experiences aligned with Palm Heights' luxury hospitality standards. This role oversees daily operations, recreation team leadership, guest engagement, signature events, retreats, and experiential programming.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of watersports and family programming, including reservations, billing, scheduling, inventory, guest communications, and service delivery.
• Lead team training, operational procedures, safety standards, and service excellence initiatives.
• Oversee staffing, performance, equipment maintenance, and operational compliance.
• Develop and oversee watersports, wellness, and family-friendly experiences for hotel guests and club members.
• Create and manage weekly programming and monthly signature activations.
• Design bespoke experiences that reflect the Palm Heights brand and lifestyle offering.
• Oversee ocean experiences including snorkeling, freediving, scuba diving, swimming, paddleboard yoga, floating sound baths, guided excursions, and underwater photography.
• Develop wellness programming including yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound baths, and ocean-based wellness experiences.
• Develop and oversee family activities including arts & crafts, cooking classes, children's fitness activities, swimming and snorkeling programs, and customized family experiences.
• Create content showcasing watersports, wellness, and family experiences.
• Partner with Marketing and Design teams to promote programming and activations.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally to execute events, experiences, and special projects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Recreation, Tourism, Event Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in recreation, watersports, wellness, or luxury hospitality programming.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and guest service skills.
• Experience managing events, retreats, and experiential programming.
• CPR, First Aid, watersports, diving, or related certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication, social media, and relationship-building skills.
