Job Opening: File Clerk
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented File Clerk with knowledge of Cayman Islands immigration procedures and requirements. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining immigration files and documents, completing immigration forms, and preparing related correspondence. Fluency in English and Spanish, or strong working knowledge of both, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize, maintain, and update client files and records.
• Prepare and complete immigration forms accurately.
• Assist with Cayman Islands immigration applications and documentation.
• Review documents to ensure required information is complete and properly organized.
• Prepare and update letters and other immigration-related correspondence.
• Assist clients with gathering documents required for immigration applications.
• Maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and electronic.
• Enter and update information in computer systems and databases.
• Track application documents, deadlines, and pending requirements.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documents or additional information needed.
• Translate or assist Spanish-speaking clients with immigration-related information when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and documents.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Knowledge of Cayman Islands immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Experience completing immigration forms and preparing supporting documentation.
• Strong organizational and filing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Spanish; ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients is an advantage.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, email, and document management.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Previous office, administrative, immigration, or legal-support experience preferred.

The position involves assisting with immigration documentation and administrative procedures and requires accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable Cayman Islands immigration requirements.
