Cancay Holdings Ltd, trading as Silk is looking for a dedicated cook to prepare high-quality Chinese, Asian and local meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing awesome meals for our customers.
Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.
Steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Checking food and ingredients for freshness.
Arranging and garnishing dishes.
Working well under pressure and within the time limit.
Ensure that the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned.
Helping lead and inspire our kitchen staff as the restaurant manager.
Wowing our guests with amazing dishes.

Qualifications:
A certificate of completion of any training program in cooking or vocational school attended gives you an edge over others.
Cooking experience in any food service establishment including Asian cuisines.
Must possess a passion for cooking.
Ability to multitask and display the highest possible form of endurance when conditions get tough.
Must have integrity and honesty.
Possesses good communication skills and is flexible.
Knowledge of the basic skills involved in cooking, how to prepare recipes offered by the establishment, and how to use pans, knives, grills, and other cooking equipment.
Ability to integrate into a team.
With a clean police record.
