Cashier.

We are seeking for a professional cashier with a strong background in working in luxury retail environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Is responsible for counting the change in the cash register before the register opens each morning and whenever necessary provide change via the branch’s designated person.
• Enter receipts into the cash register’s computer and hand copy of receipt to customer.
• Accept credit card, and foreign currency in adherence with instructions and make check of authenticity.
• Close the cash register at the end of the day, counts the money and deliver both money and cheques to the designated store manager.
• Write out gift certificate.
• Carry out other activities which may be regarded as necessary and which belong to the job description and/or specific branch.

Job Related Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 3 yrs in cashier
• Must be able to use POS system/cashier system
• Knowledge of working with credit cards
• Be able to count and do basic math
• Understand how to convert currency between KYD & USD
• Must have a polished, professional outlook
• Excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast pace environment
• Able to work nights, weekend and Holidays
• Able to stand 8 hrs a day at work
• Must have a clean police record
• Able to lift 25 pounds box

The position has a cashier allowance additional to the hourly rate
