Cashier.

•Provide superior customer service to each customer.
•Following all store and department policies and procedures.
•Accurately process all customer transactions by following all cash handling and accounting procedures. Fulfill all requirements for sales audit and vault processes. Accountable for cash overage/shortage.
•Proper handling of company funds throughout the day - receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.
•Follow all Front End procedures and philosophy including customer service, proper scanning processes, shrink control, bank card processing and cash exchange.
•Maintain a safe environment, reporting any unsafe acts or areas in the store.
•Assist in other areas of the business including merchandising and overall store appearance.
•Perform any task assigned by management or supervisory personnel

Minimum Requirements:
•Must have basic math and reading skills
•Strong customer service skills are essential
•Clean police clearance required.
•Must have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how to operate a Point-of-sale system. Prior cashiering experience is preferred.
•Follows instructions promptly and efficiently, taking initiative when appropriate.
•Responds promptly to all customer requests and responds effectively to customer needs and concerns.
