Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform skilled masonry work including building, altering, and repairing brick, stone, tile, ceramic, and concrete structures and surfaces.
• Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces such as floors, walkways, sidewalks, roads, and curbs using hand and power tools.
• Align and set forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters; patch voids and cut expansion joints using saws.
• Repair, maintain, and alter buildings, retaining walls, chimneys, and other brick or stone structures.
• Mix mortar and concrete; lay bricks, stones, and concrete sidewalks; construct and repair steps.
• Patch, repair, and/or replace brick or stone chimneys.
• Install and repair tile floors and walls.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Plaster ceilings and walls as required.
• Perform carpentry work incidental to masonry projects.
• Cut materials to specified sizes for installation using power saws, tile cutters, or other tools.
• Cut tile, stone, and other masonry materials accurately.
• Perform physically demanding tasks requiring frequent use of arms and legs, including lifting, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling heavy materials.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a carpenter.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity; ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Ability to work at elevated heights for extended periods.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and methods.
• Ability to safely use and maneuver specialized construction tools.
• Clean police record.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule & Compensation
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Pay Rate: KYD $10.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, knowledge, and experience
