Experienced Carpenter/Mason required. Minimum 5-6 years’ relevant experience, with strong finish and formwork carpentry skills. Duties include constructing, erecting, installing and renovating wood, plywood and wallboard structures; installing windows and moulding; measuring, cutting and shaping materials; and constructing frameworks to specification.
Concrete-related duties include finishing, jointing, hand chipping, patching, grouting, pointing, screed setting, plugging, filling bolt holes, dry packing, setting curb forms, planks, stakes, lines and grades, and grinding concrete for patching or finished surfaces.
Applicants must be a team player who can work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. Must hold a clean driver’s licence and have a clean police record. Excellent written references required. Random drug testing may be conducted.
Salary: KYD $13.00–$16.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
Full-time position, 45 hrs./week, extended hours may be required and must be available for weekends.
