Barista / Server.

The Brew Hut LTD. are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and experienced Barista / Server to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires early morning availability, strong customer service skills, and a solid foundation in coffee preparation. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting strict operational and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and food items in accordance with company standards
-Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
-Operate POS systems (experience with Aloha preferred) for order processing and cash handling
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas
-Assist with stock replenishment
-Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
-Work efficiently during high-volume service periods, including early morning shifts
-Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Work Schedule & Requirements:
-Must be available to work 6 days per week
-Must be able to start shifts as early as 4:30 AM
-Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts is required
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
-Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a barista/server OR formal barista training
-Demonstrated knowledge of coffee preparation, extraction techniques, and equipment handling
-Must provide proof of coffee knowledge (certificate, training credentials, or equivalent)
-Experience using Aloha POS system is highly desirable
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compliance & Security Requirements:
-Must provide a clear police record / background check
-Must possess a valid driver’s license
-Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, including successful completion of annual security training
-Must have sufficient documentation and qualifications to pass all required airport authority clearances

Compensation:
-CI$8.75 – CI$10.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Approved Gratuity Scheme in place
