Duties:
- Prep, spray and finish any type of motor vehicle
- Prioritize and perform light body work as needed
- Coordinate works with contracted mechanics and heavy autobody repairmen
- Heat mold, repair and refinish any bumpers, panels and plastic parts
- Maintain production of 4 to 6 vehicles per week in a high pressure auto rental workshop
- Work closely with management, suppliers to manage all tools, paints, materials and chemicals
Qualifications:
- 5 years as auto painter, working with suppliers and specialists in the auto repair trades
- Working knowledge of auto paints & their components, additives and related chemicals
- Mastery of auto painting techniques including color matching and blending
- Mastery of auto body prep & spray using fillers, primers, fiberglass, spray guns, wet and dry sanding and finishing tools
- Expertise to achieve flawless finishes, regardless of environmental conditions
Level of Education Required: High School Diploma. Completion of accredited trade training preffered.
