Job Duties:
Troubleshoot and repair refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, electric and gas ranges, ovens, microwaves, ice makers, water dispensers, and other appliances. Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, refrigeration, drainage, heating, control-board, sensor, motor, compressor, and wiring faults. Test, repair, and replace compressors, motors, pumps, thermostats, heating elements, valves, switches, sensors, control boards, and wiring. Perform leak detection, brazing, evacuation, vacuum procedures, refrigerant charging, and sealed-system repairs where required.
Prepare service reports and determine required replacement parts.
Qualifications:
Diploma or technical/vocational qualification in Appliance Repair, Refrigeration, Electrical/Electronics, HVAC/R, or a related field. Valid driver's licence preferred.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant appliance repair experience, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial appliances and attend emergency service calls when required.
