Prestige Motors Limited is seeking an organized, efficient Accounts Clerk with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.

As an Accounts Clerk, your presence is crucial in ensuring the accurate management of financial transactions and maintaining organized financial records. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

-Performing basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment logs, while ensuring timely processing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including reconciliations and variances analysis.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in financial information.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and practices for increased efficiency.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in an accounting or clerical role, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
- Available to work on weekend and holidays as needed.
- With a Clean Police record.
