How Schooner handles your information.

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us (earlier signups could leave a phone number instead), the date, the page you signed up on, and your browser's user-agent. Once you use Schooner, we also store what you send it in chat — messages, voice notes, and any CV or photo — the profile built from them (work history, qualifications, preferences, immigration status and contact details), and the jobs you mark.

Your waitlist contact is used for one thing: inviting you to Schooner and telling you about the service. Your profile is used to score job postings against your background and to draft applications you approve.

Schooner runs on a few outside services, and each receives only what its job needs:

• netcup rents us the server in Germany where your profile, conversation and match history are stored.
• Telegram carries the conversation — everything you send Schooner and everything it sends you.
• Anthropic runs the interview and reads the CV, photo or document you send.
• OpenAI transcribes voice notes and scores job postings against your profile, with your name and contact details removed.
• TypeSafe gives each posting a quick first read against your background, skills, experience and preferences — never your name or contact details.
• Resend delivers our email: the waitlist welcome, invitations, and match emails if you asked for them.
• Cloudflare serves this website, stores waitlist entries, and holds a copy of your pipeline page — your first name and the jobs you've marked — while its link is valid, and keeps encrypted backups of our records for 90 days.
• Discord is where our team is notified of signups and account changes, including the contact or name involved.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with employers unless you tell us to apply.

Your profile, conversation and match history are stored on a server we rent from netcup in Germany. Waitlist entries are stored with Cloudflare, the infrastructure provider that also serves this website. Job postings themselves are public information read from the sources where employers advertise them.

Send /delete in chat and your profile, conversation and marked jobs are erased straight away, and your pipeline page with them; backups age out within 90 days. You can also ask what we hold, or ask us to correct it — email hello@caribbean.work. Leaving the waitlist is one email.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
