Job Duties
1. Maintain and enhance static page content as determined by the Marketing Manager
2. Maintain and enhance dynamic product content within the web shops as determined by the operational department responsible for each web shop
3. Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection
4. Responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, and functionality
5. Develop web page infrastructure and applications related to pages with more advanced graphics and features
6. Maintaining, updating, and optimising servers; monitoring and analysing site performance
7. Implementing search engine optimisation strategies
8. Promote company websites online to increase prominence within their web community where possible
9. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to set and ensure marketing campaigns achieve budgeted commercial targets
10. Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing results of each web marketing campaign and possible improvements
11. Advise Marketing Manager on the improvement, results, competition, and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of the company
12. Ensure regular communication and email contact with affiliates and act as main point of contact
13. Source and manage new revenue generating online marketing opportunities
14. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to create and update all social networking media
15. Train staff on the proper use of the sites, including the production of training materials as required
16. Liaise with the Group IT Manager on hosting matters, technical design, and additional applications where applicable
17. Addressing and responding to user comments and complaints
18. Any other duties as required
Skills/Requirements
• Minimum 5 years' proven work experience in web administration, web development, or a related role
• A firm grasp of the English language (written and verbal) is essential
• Attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work well with others as well as independently
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of WordPress and other content management systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary or industry-specific platforms as required
• Strong understanding of GA4, webmaster tools, and social media platforms
• Proficient in HTML/CSS; working knowledge of SQL and JavaScript preferred
• Understanding of website security principles and data protection compliance
• Working knowledge of server management, hosting infrastructure, and DNS
• Strong understanding of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) process, including technical SEO and site performance monitoring
• Graphic design experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient in photo and video editing
• Capable of producing original content, including copywriting and photography
• Experience developing training materials and delivering staff training
