Kirk Freeport is looking for an experienced Watchmaker. As the leading luxury watch retailer in the Cayman Islands, we are looking for a fully trained and talented Watchmaker to join the prestigious Kirk Freeport team.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and service watches according to the required time schedule for each brand.
• Order spare parts, restock parts and maintain watch part inventory.
• Repair all parts of the watch, including movements, cases, bracelets, clasps to the highest of standards.
• Perform water resistance checks when required.
• Make sure repairs are completed correctly, properly and on time.
• Keep work areas clean, organized.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the polishing room, Oyster bench and watchmaking benches.
• Take extreme care of all tools, equipment, watches and parts with the utmost of precision.
• Let the customers know of any additional problems, delays or parts that are needed to fulfill the watch repair and service that may be on back order.
• Be precise, accurate and work with the highest of standards and integrity.

Qualifications:
• Certified and experienced in repairing luxury timepieces such as Rolex, Breitling and Patek Philipp.
• 5 – 6 years watch repair experience is required.
• Experience in repairing these brands as part of the after sales department.
• Rolex-trained Watchmaker with certification to work on Rolex timepieces.
• Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, often to tight deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be dependable with the ability and willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and holiday season.
• Trustworthy, honest and a team player.
