The Vice President (“VP”) is responsible for leading captive service teams overseeing a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance accounts. The VP will support the team with any client or technical issues that arise. The VP will be a key relationship lead on captive and reinsurance accounts and will have strong relationships with clients, representatives and regulatory agencies. The VP will be a strategic leader on both their client portfolio and general office growth and development.

Core responsibilities to include:
 Lead and motivate a captive management team with responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of a portfolio of captive insurance/reinsurance companies.
 Primary responsibility for the strategic development of clients under management.
 Act as a relationship manager and liaison between client and captive service teams.
 Support team on complex financial transactions.
 Drive business development both organically and through new relationships.
 Attend industry conferences and present at conferences if/when requested.
 Oversight on distribution of work allocations and coordinating the workload of the team.
 Overseeing operational excellence within the team and recommending improvements where needed.
 Develop policies and procedures.
 Responsible for upholding compliance and regulatory obligations ensuring applications and filings are submitted on time.
 Manage and build relationships with regulatory agencies and clients.
 Deliver a high level of client service.
 Oversight of project management.

Supervision Responsibilities
The VP will participate in the performance management process for direct reports, providing constructive feedback, assisting with objectives/goal setting and supporting career development initiatives and acting as a mentor and coach to direct reports and team members.

About you
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
 Must possess a professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification).
 10+ years’ previous accounting experience, preferably in captive insurance/reinsurance management and audit.
 Proven client relationship management experience in captive insurance and reinsurance management.
 Demonstrated experience leading and supervising professional teams.
 Excellence in strategic thinking and planning.
 Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
 Strong financial, insurance and reinsurance background is essential.
 Highly organized individual able to prioritize workload, both their own and other staff members.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 Deliver business results with excellence.
 Strong knowledge of captive insurance structures, governance, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and insurance operations.
 Proficient knowledge of Excel, MS Word and accounting applications.
 Deliver effective and impactful presentations at board meetings to key stakeholders.
 Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

Salary and Benefits
Aon offers competitive compensation with a salary in the range of USD130,000-USD145,000 per annum. This is a full-time position. Standard office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or 9 am to 5 pm. As a professional and managerial role, overtime may be required.
