Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Tour Dispatcher to coordinate daily shore excursions for cruise ship guests visiting Grand Cayman. The Tour Dispatcher will play a key role in ensuring that guests are efficiently checked in, assigned to the correct tours and vessels, and safely and smoothly transported throughout their excursion.

The position will support a variety of marine and watersports experiences, including semi-submarine tours, catamaran cruises, snorkeling excursions, and scuba diving trips.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, comfortable working in a fast-paced tourism environment, and able to communicate effectively with guests, tour guides, captains, drivers, and other members of the operations team.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the daily departure schedule for all assigned excursions and vessels.

Check in cruise ship guests and verify tour tickets, reservations, passenger lists, and special requirements.

Organize guests into the appropriate tour groups, vessels, departure times, and transportation.

Communicate boarding times, meeting points, safety instructions, and tour information clearly to guests.

Coordinate with captains, crew members, dive instructors, snorkel guides, drivers, and shore-excursion staff to ensure timely departures.

Monitor guest arrivals and departures and maintain accurate passenger counts.

Ensure that all guests are accounted for before vessels and transportation depart.

Assist with managing last-minute bookings, cancellations, no-shows, schedule changes, and guest requests.

Communicate operational changes caused by weather, sea conditions, vessel availability, or cruise-ship schedules.

Coordinate transportation between cruise-ship terminals, meeting points, docks, and excursion locations when required.

Maintain accurate daily manifests and provide updated passenger information to vessel crews and tour guides.

Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of guests and ensure guests are directed to the correct vessel or tour.

Provide professional customer service and resolve routine guest concerns promptly and courteously.

Escalate safety concerns, medical issues, serious complaints, or operational problems to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

Work closely with management to maximize vessel capacity while maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Assist with daily operational reports, passenger counts, sales information, and other administrative duties.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dispatch and guest-service area.

Follow company policies, marine safety procedures, and applicable Cayman Islands regulations.

Perform other operational duties as assigned.
