The primary responsibility of a Tiler / Mason is to ensure that finished structures match the specifications established by blueprints given. They are responsible for undertaking any Masonry work, Bricklaying, Stonework, Blockwork, Paving, Rendering and Plasterwork. They will also install, repair, and finish floor and wall tiles across residential and commercial construction projects. Their duties include measuring and preparing surfaces, reading plans and specifications, cutting and laying ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other tile materials, and applying adhesives, grout, and sealants.
The role requires attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship, including inspecting completed work, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and handling tools and materials safely. The Tiler / Mason will work closely with supervisors and other tradesmen to complete projects efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with Cayman Islands laws, Company Standards, Plans, and applicable building requirements.
