Team Leader Restaurant.

TEAM LEADER
The team leader is responsible for maintaining high standards among the
staff and ensuring a memorably and good experience for the customers.Team
leaders Trains the Staff in all the Food and Beverage service including wine
Training.He Or She should have full Knowledge about Wine,Service and
Training Standard.
Basic Duties
Team Leader supervises all the Food & Beverage Staff
Responsible for Scheduling, Ordering,Inventory,Budgeting,Maintaining
Standard and Procedure of the Restaurant,He Or She greets the public,
assigns stations, oversees reservations, conducts customers to their tables and
issues instructions to the waitstaff and kitchen in special situations, such as
service for a large private party. The captain keeps up an ongoing
conversation between the servers and the kitchen staff on the quality and
preparation of the food and is responsible for coordinating orders when the
room becomes busy.
Recruitment Training
Team leaders plays a key role in recruitment, interview applicants, advise
management on hiring and firing decisions, assist with training, mentor new
staff as they work into their new jobs and coordinate schedules. They are
responsible for replacing staff who are out sick or on vacation and for
arranging coverage in cases of emergency absence. They interface with
restaurant management on a regular basis on staffing needs.
Preparation and Presentation
A team leader is responsible for the general presentation of the restaurant.He
Or She ensures that tables are set properly, that beverage and other
workstations are in order and fully stocked, and that the plates, silverware
and glassware are fully presentable. A team leader is also be responsible for
maintaining a Beverage and Wine Menu, presenting checks to customers at
the end of their meal and addressing any complaints about the service or the
food.
Also responsible for all the proper documentation of the staff and all the cash
drops and makes reports and reports on daily basis to the Owner or to his Supervisor.
