We are hiring Stone Cutter / Carver to cut stone patterns, verify depths and dimensions of cuts or carvings and ensure adherence to specifications, models, using creativity to bring best quality. To do so, prospect employee must be able to execute the following:
- Determine the materials and equipment needed for each project.
- Differentiate surfaces of carvings to ensure smoothness of finish.
- Study artistic objects or graphic materials, such us models, sketches, to plan or cutting techniques.
- Shape, trim, or touch up rough-out designs with appropriate tools to finish carvings.
- Carve designs or figures in full or bas relief on stone, employing knowledge of stone carving techniques and sense of artistry to produce carving pieces.
- Cut, shape and finish rough stone blocks into jewellery with required quality control and standards to obtain the best product for our clientele.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
