STEEL FIXER

Key Responsibilities:
• Experienced in steel fixing and general construction across both commercial and residential projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, reinforcement schedules, and steel fixing plans.
• Carry out accurate steel reinforcement take-offs and identify the required quantities, sizes, shapes, and placement of reinforcement steel.
• Measure, cut, bend, position, and secure reinforcement steel and reinforcing mesh in accordance with project specifications.
• Install reinforcement steel for foundations, footings, slabs, beams, columns, walls, stairs, and other structural elements.
• Work accurately to specified measurements, levels, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Work effectively as part of a construction team, coordinating with site supervisors, steel fixers, carpenters, concrete crews, and other trades.
• Inspect completed steel reinforcement to ensure it meets drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
