Read and interpret construction drawings, reinforcement schedules,and specifications.
Measure, cut, bend, and prepare steel reinforcement according to required dimensions.
Position and secure steel e rebar, reinforcement mesh, starter bars, and other steel components,
Tie reinforcement using steel wire, tying tools and other appropriate equipment
Install reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, slabs walls, footings,and other concrete structures
Used hand and power tools safely and correctly
Ensure correct spacing and alignment levels overlaps and concrete cover.
Work closely with carpenters concrete workers enginers supervisors and other construction personnel
Inspect reinforcement before concrete is poured and correct any issues identified
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Fallow site safety procedures,PPE requiments and applicable construction regulations
Safely handle, move and store reinforcing steel and construction materials
Report damaged material, unsafe conditions or construction issues to the supervisor
