SERVICE WRITER.

Prestige Motors Ltd. is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our Service Department.

Salary Range: CI$14.00 – CI$20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Commission will commence after probation.

Candidates should be experienced and knowledgeable about the latest automotive technologies. They will serve as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair inquiries. This includes gathering information from customers about vehicle issues to troubleshoot problems and advising them on the importance of vehicle care and maintenance.

The role involves developing strong customer relationships through effective management of products and service delivery, as well as maintaining computerized customer profile information.

Responsibilities also include monitoring customer records to ensure timely scheduled servicing and identifying future repair needs, followed by contacting customers to arrange appointments.

Candidates will develop cost estimates, log required parts, and determine the time needed for repairs while scheduling the most suitable service technician. They must effectively communicate all necessary information related to costs, parts, work, and technicians to both customers and management.

Requirements
• Minimum five (5) years' relevant automotive/service industry experience, preferably as a Service Writer or in a similar automotive position.
• Automotive dealership experience required; Hyundai experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be computer literate; familiarity with Mitchell Teamwork's software would be an asset.
• Ability to prepare estimates, manage repair orders and effectively coordinate between customers and workshop personnel.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Successful applicant will be required to complete applicable Hyundai manufacturer training and participate in ongoing training as required.
