The Senior Trust Officer role is responsible for the administration and Cayman based oversight of a portfolio of trusts, private trust companies and related structures, ensuring high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory, AML/KYC, fiduciary and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
-Manage and oversee a portfolio of trusts, private trust companies, underlying entities and related private client structures, ensuring effective administration and Cayman-based oversight.
-Coordinate the establishment, ongoing administration, restructuring and termination of trust and fiduciary structures.
-Act as a primary contact for clients, beneficiaries, intermediaries and professional advisers, delivering a high standard of client service and timely execution of agreed deliverables.
-Serve as an Authorized Signatory for affiliate companies of TMF Cayman, within approved authority levels.
-Oversee trust assets, transactions, governance records and trustee decisions, ensuring appropriate documentation, approvals and record keeping are maintained.
-Lead and assist with client compliance onboarding in line with Cayman regulations
-Ensure compliance with Cayman regulatory, AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS, Economic Substance, Beneficial Ownership and internal risk management requirements.
Monitor periodic reviews, regulatory filings, accounts and operational deliverables, identifying and escalating risks, control issues and complex matters as appropriate.
-Lead with all finance matters, including budgeting, invoicing, new business set up and ad hoc finance projects
-Provide oversight of services delivered by internal and group support teams, ensuring quality, service standards and operational effectiveness are maintained.

Key Requirements
-A relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
STEP qualification preferred
-At least 5 years of relevant experience in trust administration, fiduciary services and/or private wealth. -Cayman experience is preferred.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, advisers, regulators, senior management and internal stakeholders.
-High attention to detail, sound fiduciary judgement and the ability to identify authority issues, missing approvals, file deficiencies and operational or regulatory risks.
-Commercial awareness and the ability to balance client service, risk management, compliance and operational efficiency.
